Create New Attribute from Plot Separation

You can create a new attribute that uses the existing bins in a plot as values of this attribute.  This can be useful in creating categories based on ranges of a numeric attribute or in making new grouping of a category attribute.

To create a new attribute based on the current bins in a plot,

1. From the plot's Options menu, choose Create Attribute from Horizontal Bins or Create Attribute from Vertical Bins.

A new attribute will be created and appear at the bottom of the data cards and right hand column of the case table. If you'd like, you can click on the attribute name in the data cards or case table to rename it.
