Paste Pictures

You can paste pictures from other applications into TinkerPlots. If you are writing a report, this might be a good way to illustrate parts of it.

1.

In another application, copy a picture onto the clipboard.

2.

Open a TinkerPlots document. Make sure that nothing is selected in your document. (Click in an empty space to deselect all objects.)

3.

Choose Paste Picture from the Edit menu.

You can resize the picture just as you would any other object in TinkerPlots by dragging the edges of its frame.

You can also copy and paste pictures of TinkerPlots objects (for example, if you want several static graphs that no one can change).

1.

Select the object.

2.

Choose Copy Picture from the Edit menu.

3.

Click in an empty area of the TinkerPlots document (to deselect all objects).

4.

Choose Paste Picture from the Edit menu.
