Learning to Use TinkerPlots The best first introduction to TinkerPlots is a five-minute movie called “TinkerPlots Basics.” You can view this movie by choosing TinkerPlots Movies from the Help menu. After you've watched this short introduction, you'll be ready to use TinkerPlots for most basic tasks. Altogether, ten short help videos are available when you choose TinkerPlots Movies from the Help menu. These are: TinkerPlots Basics Adding Data Making Common Graphs Comparing Groups Exploring Relationships 1 Exploring Relationships 2 Building a Data Factory Simulating Group Differences Probability Simulation Creating Sample Spaces We recommend returning to watch these movies after you’ve spent some time exploring TinkerPlots, perhaps by working through the tutorials.
After you’ve watched the movie “TinkerPlots Basics” and perhaps also the movies “Adding Data,” and “Making Common Graphs,” and “Building a Data Factory,” you may wish to work through one or both tutorials.
